Downstream from river Tagus, the waterway opens up to Oeiras, the nearest beach to Lisbon. Pulsating from the presence of people day and night, this beach is connected through a spectacular ocean side road to two more beaches Cascais and Estoril. Well maintained with proper public facilities and security, the beach is equally beautiful at night with illuminated walkways and seaside sitting arrangements.

Renowned for being the host of ASP WQS World Surfing Championship, here you’ll find the old world meeting the new. Winding cobblestone streets and village shops are what welcome everyone to this sea side paradise. The small municipality of Sesimbra is the home of Portugal’s little gold sanded beach. The best part of this beach is its diversity as the whole beach are divided into a number of other unique beach fronts that are each different than the other! With an endless beach opening up to the part of the Great Atlantic where the sea sometimes act wild and dangerous, this beach is Portugal’s official nudist beach and one of the first beaches of Portugal to achieve international recognition.
